Tyrol Ski and Mountain Club is a nonprofit member-funded social and recreational society that exists to establish, conduct, and promote an interest in skiing and other outdoor sports and recreational activities for people of all ages. We place a special emphasis on families and members who wish to ski midweek.
The club’s Tyrol Lodge is a source of many memories, family traditions, and lasting friendships. You belong at Tyrol Lodge!
Tyrol Lodge is available year-round for members of the club and their guests. All members enjoy exceptional value priced accommodation.

A limited number of Tyrol Midweek Lifetime Memberships are now available for $3500 + GST, with annual dues of $212.50 + GST.
You’ll Get:
- Lifetime Access to the Tyrol Mountain Ski Club Lodge
- Book midweek stays of up to 7 days at a time anytime within current season (May 1-Oct 31st or November 1-April 30)
- Weekend bookings can be booked two days in advance.
- Book up to 5 rooms and bring friends and family to enjoy Tyrol Lodge during the shoulder reason.
- There are 16 rooms to sleep in and 200 members, so whilst winter weekends are busy there are lots of mid week nights available.
- The lodge is a year round destination which appeals to ski families on winter weekends, through to the people who can ski whilster midweek, and then you have a summer "lodge" to use all year round.
- A quiet place to relax away from the crowds in Whistler.
- Great place to bring the extended family and friends.
How to Join Tyrol Ski and Mountain Club
All members join initially as trial members. During the trial, members have a chance to get to know other members and learn more about the club and its traditions.
Trial membership is a one time opportunity to try out the club for three months. During the trial you may attend the lodge as often as you wish, subject only to available space and the our booking policy.
If a trial member decides to join during the three-month trial, their trial membership fees cover the first year’s dues (and the next year’s dues if trial members join after April 1).
To become a member:
- Meet with the Membership Director for an initial interview and review of Tyrol Mountain Ski Club information.
- Buy a Trial Membership
- Find two members who will sponsor your membership.
- Complete an application for regular membership
- Get approved by the Board - the Board meets monthly.
- Pay the entrance fee

Mid-Week Memberships
A Membership with midweek booking privileges lets you enjoy all the privileges of regular membership with ½ the regular annual dues. Members with midweek booking privileges can book non-peak stays anytime in the current season (Nov 1 – April 30) and May 1 – October 31. .

Out of Town Members
- Entitles members who reside more than 400 km from Tyrol Lodge to book up to two peak stays per year (one stay = 1-7 consecutive nights).
- Reservations for Out of Town Members’ may be booked anytime after Nov 1st.
- The one-time Initiation Fee for Out Of Town Members is $1,500+GST.
- Out of Town Members must maintain a 2:1 booking ratio of non-peak:peak night booked.
Membership Cost & Annual Dues
Non-refundable dues are payable at the beginning of the Tyrol fiscal year (November 1). Annual dues increase incrementally each year as set by the board of directors.
