Guest Booking Information

How Guests Can Book Their Own Rooms at Tyrol Lodge:

  1. Go to TyrolSkiClub.com and click on Book Now from the main navigation.
  2. Select the first night of your stay from the calendar or click on book room.
  3. Search for Availability – Add the Checkout Date, Number of people staying and your desired room type.
  4. Reserve the Room Rate that Applies. 
    • Use the Guest Rate for Peak Nights (Fridays & Saturdays Between Dec 1, 2023 and April 15, 2024, Dec 22, 2023 -Jan 6, 2024, Family day Long Weekend Feb 18th, 2024 and Spring Break March 15-31, 2024)
    • Use the Member Rate for Non-Peak Nights (All other dates other than those mentioned above)
  5. Confirm Your Reservation
    • Add a Membership Number
    • Whomever has invited you to Tyrol Lodge will provide you with their membership number. Enter their number plus “GUEST” into this field. Example: 987GUEST
    • Add the member name in the Request/Remark field. Example: “We are guests of Sunny Powderfield”
    • Add all names of people staying in the room you’re booking
  6. Submit Booking. Lodge Manager will review your booking and will respond within 24 hours with a confirmation.

Important Notes About Your Booking

  • The room you book is not always the room you get. The Tyrol Ski Club exists to serve all of its members to improve access to the outdoors and our policy is to maximize Tyrol Lodge occupancy. If the Tyrol Lodge is experiencing high occupancy during your stay, the Lodge Manager will allocate rooms to maximize occupancy.
  • There is no front desk. No check-in is required.
  • A rooming list is posted to the red front door of the managers’ cottage. 

Members Must Be With Guest on First Night

  • The sponsoring member(s) MUST be staying themselves on at least the first night of their guests’ stay. 
  • This applies each time a guest is booked.
  • Guests may be booked to stay in the Lodge after the member has checked out.
  • If the sponsoring member is forced to cancel the first night of a stay, any simultaneous reservation for non-member guests will also be canceled.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you cancel more than eleven days before the first night of your booked stay, you will receive 100% club credit. 
  • If you cancel ten to three days before the first night of your booked stay, you will receive 75% club credit.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of the first day of a booked stay, there is no refund if the room is vacant for the first night of your canceled stay. However, you will receive a 50% of what you originally paid in credit club credit for each cancelled night the room is rebooked. If this happens, the Lodge Manager will let you know.

What Do Guests Need to Know About Staying at Tyrol Lodge?

The club holds a nostalgic and proud heritage as a unique family lodge in Whistler, offering a sociable and friendly atmosphere where both adults and children can enjoy their time. 

It values simple, honest living with shared facilities, promoting an unpretentious lifestyle where members & guests contribute equally. 

The Tyrol Lodge is NOT a hotel, it is the last family lodge in Whistler and as a guest of a member, you are expected to participate by observing lodge rules and cleaning up after yourselves.

What Do Guests Need to Bring?

The Tyrol Lodge has many amenities to make your stay comfortable, including fully equipped kitchens, a games room (Billiards, Table Tennis, numerous toys for kids of all ages), a communal gathering place with seating, a fireplace, library catalog of board games, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the lodge.

Every room is allotted dry food storage space and there are 5 shared fridges and freezers for perishable foods.

You must bring your own personal items for your stay. 

  • Bedding (Pillows, Fitted Sheets & Blankets). You may be assigned a queen, double or twin bed, so prepare to be flexible.
  • Towels
  • Food (Sealed containers please)
  • Indoor shoes/slippers are recommended. All footwear must be left in the boot room. 
  • Headphones. If you plan to use devices or take calls, do it with headphones. Better yet, find a private space!
