Lodge Update:

If you have been up to the lodge recently you will have noticed the new furniture, the new lockers and that the deck is still closed.  We are making progress with the deck, but it is a slow process that involves many levels of permitting.  The most important job that we are focused on is the foundation work at South-West corner by the front door.  This is planned for next summer and involves mini piles along the side of the lodge to secure the building to the bedrock.  Once this is complete, we will be ready to rebuild the deck….hopefully.

Bear Aware:

We have lots of bears on the property and they are used to a quiet lodge to wander around at, so we have to be especially careful on weekends.  Keep food out of your cars and straight into the lodge.  Keep the lodge door closed at all times.  Please go outside with small children.
